2022 is the 30th anniversary of Blues Traveler’s first Independence Day show at Red Rocks. The band made their headlining debut at the venue on September 14, 1991 and came back less than a year later for a two-night stand on July 3 and 4, 1992. Blues Traveler went on to play Red Rocks on the 4th of July each year since, with the exception of 1999 and 2020.
Blues Traveler was due to perform at Red Rocks on July 4, 2020 but the concert was canceled due to Covid. This year’s show features special guests Cory Wong and the Robert Randolph Band. John Popper and company launched their 35th Anniversary Tour.
